Steps
- Open inventory, right-click the lamp → Refill.
- Game pulls oil from inventory in priority order (whale > fish > vegetable).
- If you have no oil, lamp goes dark and you need flint to relight.

Carry a backup torch
Torches use wood, not oil. Keep 3 in your hotbar in case the lamp dies mid-cave.
