What is Windrose?
The 60-second pitchWindrose is an online-coop, open-world pirate survival game launched in Steam Early Access on April 14, 2026 by Australian studio Kraken Express and co-published in Japan by Pocketpair Publishing (Palworld). It blends Valheim-style gathering and base-building with a deep ship-combat layer, a light Souls-like stamina/parry system, and faction-driven progression across a hand-crafted archipelago.
You start shipwrecked on a beach with nothing but a knife.
