- Hull must be at least Cutter — rowboats have zero hardpoints.
- Craft a Light Cannon at the Smithy (8 iron ingot + 2 oak + 1 brass fitting).
- Walk on deck, look at a hardpoint (glowing brass mount). Press
Fto Install Cannon. - Confirm port (left) or starboard (right). You cannot move cannons after install without dismantling.

Tip
Mounting cannons asymmetrically (e.g. 3 port + 1 starboard) is a viable single-player build because you only fire one side at a time. Saves iron and weight — you sail faster.
