Windrose Stamina Guide
Stamina is the single most-complained-about system in Windrose. Most of the complaints stop once you know the hidden hunger rule.
The hidden hunger cap
Your max stamina is silently capped by your hunger tier. At full hunger you have 100% of your stamina pool; at the “Hungry” tier it drops to 60%, and at “Starving” it’s 30%. New players think the stamina bar is broken — it’s the hunger.
| Hunger | Max stamina | Regen |
|---|---|---|
| Well-fed | 110% | ×1.2 |
| Full | 100% | ×1.0 |
| Hungry | 60% | ×0.8 |
| Starving | 30% | ×0.5 |
Best stamina foods
| Food | Hunger | Buff |

| Fish Stew | +40% | Well-fed for 10 min |
| Sailor’s Biscuit | +25% | +5% stamina regen 8 min |
| Honey-glazed Cod | +30% | +15% max stamina 6 min |
| Cooked Cod | +15% | Heal 10/s for 6s |
Talent priorities for stamina
- Sea Legs — zero stamina drain on deck.
- Iron Stomach — removes raw-food poison so you can eat anything.
- Marathoner (Lv 20) — sprint costs −25% stamina.
Quick rules
- Eat before entering a boss arena, not during.
- Carry 5 Stamina Teas for any voyage longer than 10 minutes.
- Walk for 90% of overland travel; sprinting drains 3× faster.
- Mid-combat, never let stamina fall below 40% — see the boss guide about the parry stamina-overflow bug.
